Combinations:
In this strategy we use 2 elements completely different and not related but when we use them together the object still have some sense for us.
The composition of combination show a broccoli that is used to make a bonsai, we combine a tree with the broccoli.
Juxtaposition:
This strategy try to show contrast between elements. The composition show the differences between the elements and that difference is the idea that we want to show.
Isolation:
This is a composition where we try to guide to the viewer and show the element that is separated visually from the others elements of the composition.
In this composition we try to compare the hair style with the shape of the broccoli.
Metaphor or Simile:
The meaning of the composition is the most important in this strategy. The elements are combined and try to send a message to the viewer .
The composition try send a message to the viewer and promote healthy food.
Change of Context/Environment:
As always we try to communicate an idea and highlight a concept. This strategy use objects with contrast and are placed in unnatural or uncommon environments.
The broccoli has been used as a center of the flower, it is used in a context that is unusual for the broccoli.
Physical/Shape Similarity:
This composition use the physical similarities of objects that usually are not connected but when are used together the final idea get sense.
Of course the broccoli has a lot of shape similarities with a tree, specially the top of the tree, we compare the trees with the broccoli.
Material Change/Swap/Focus:
With this strategy basically we use a different material to show an object but we keep in mind the original object even with that change of material.
This composition is a lung made by broccoli, the material looks similar for that reason you can recognize the lung even if you do not see any name on it.
